HOW TO INSTALL 68-72 C10 BUCKET SEATS AND CONSOLE
Assuming you have the seats and console out of the truck, begin by installing the outer seat brackets to the floor using the factory bolt holes. Next, install the provided lower seat back bracket to the bottom of the seat using the factory bolts. Then, place the seat in the desired location and mark two pilot holes for the front mount. Remove the seat and drill a 1/8” hole at each pilot hole mark. Be sure not to drill through your floor! Now it’s time to install your b-pillar trim. This will vary depending on what kind of trim you have, but generally you will want to start at the top and work your way down, securing it with screws or clips as you go. With the trim in place, it’s now time to bolt down your new 68-72 C10 bucket seats using the included hardware. Start by attaching the rear brackets first, then move to the front and thread in your bolts from underneath. Once all four bolts are tightened down, give each one a final snug before moving on.
